We designed this new Modern Farmhouse home for a 12,589 sq. ft. plot of land in Littleton, Colorado. This home is for a family of five and a dog (who has his own backyard access from the Laundry Room). The comfortable buildable area allowed the Client’s requests for a ranch style/one story home of 2,928 sq. ft. and a basement of 1,000 sq. ft., providing 3,928 sq. ft. of living space, plus a three car garage. Architectural plans and engineering will be completed sometime in 2023.
The Family Room, Kitchen, Guest Suite, Master Suite and Exercise Room have views of the Rockies and access to an expansive deck. A large 10’ x 10’ Mud Room has dual entrance/exit capabilities from the Garage/Entry, as well as from the Garage/Kitchen areas.
Other amenities include interior fire safety sprinkler system, Class A fire rated roofing, fire resistant cement fiberboard siding, volume ceiling with exposed beams in the Family Room and adjacent spaces, two fireplaces, extra large 12’-6” long Pantry, two refrigerator/freezers side-by-side in the Kitchen, three skylights, door access from the Master Bedroom directly into the Babies Bedroom and backyard access from the Garage.
